Trainer Pie Frey, Psy.D.

Pie Frey, Psy.D. is a psychotherapist in private
practice in Boulder, Colorado. She has worked in
mental health settings, adolescent treatment programs
and private practice since 1982. Dr. Frey works with
children, adolescents and adults. Specialties include
working with trauma, addictions, mood and anxiety
disorders, traumatic brain injuries, school-based
issues and Asperger’s Disorder. She also has
expertise working with peak performance, mind-body
issues and spirituality.

Dr. Francine Shapiro trained Dr. Frey in EMDR in
1991 and Dr. Frey was trained in Brainspotting by
Dr. David Grand in 2006. She has worked as an
assistant to Dr. David Grand in many Phase One,
Phase Two and Intensive Trainings. She has been a
Trainer for Brainspotting since 2009. She facilitates
BSP Consultation Groups. Dr. Frey founded Rocky
Mountain Brainspotting Institute in Colorado, which
facilitates workshops related to Brainspotting, as well
as a directory of BSP therapists in the Boulder area.
She is also the Colorado Coordinator for BSP.
